Daily Productivity Hacks

A truly productive day where you feel like you feel like you got some real progress done always feels amazing. You can lay down at the end of the day, relax and recharge in a higher state of peace on these days.

I am truly the to do list queen. I give myself daily and weekly goals and almost never fail to finish the checklist. I want to share my productivity hacks with you, so that you can make sure every day counts.

USE LISTS

A simple but effective habit of productivity is to make lists. This can be as simple as taking a notepad or sticky notes where you can write the things you need to do and cross them off as you go. Not only are you less likely to forget things, but this step is also motivating to get at them. I challenge you to find something in your household that you can start your first list on. Try and check off three points this week!

SHORT TERM GOALS

This topic is a biggy. I STRIVE for short term goals. It is the short term goals that add up to those big goals. Here is how I approach it. I do these things in order as listed usually (it is sometimes likely the workout will switch time of day depending if I am meeting others or work schedule change)

daily workout (6 days a week for me)

3 daily tasks (differs per day what I need to get done more urgently)

Pick one of my 6 weekly tasks (short term goals that have more time to complete/ less urgent)

Stretch!

If I get to stretch in a day I know I had the most productive day possible. I usually get to stretch 3-5 times a week!

PHONE TIME LIMITS

You can set time limits to all or selected apps on your phone. This can be a limit by time of day or time spent on the app. For example, I have set that before 9am or after 9pm all my apps except messages are off limits. I hope to expand these limits to later in the morning and earlier at night as I get more comfortable. You can also say that you only want to go on twitter for a maximum of an hour a day - your phone will warn you when you are getting close and then shut it off.

Simply go to settings, go to screen time, and you will see “downtime” and “app limits” from there.

This has specifically helped me get more reading into my life, which is something I always claimed “I want to do but don’t have time for”.

What do you “not have time for”?

I want to challenge you to pick one of these points and try them TODAY.
